Who’s Who
David Guilding | Performing Arts Centre Manager
David joined The Bridge House in June 2011. After studying Drama at The University of Manchester, he toured the South of England with various theatre productions for many years before eventually becoming House Manager of The Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke. Having developed a taste for management, David then went on to become House Manager of The Anvil concert hall, part of Anvil Arts. Whilst there, he also lectured to University of Winchester undergraduates on Arts management whilst studying for an MA in Arts & Cultural Management himself.
Richard Cooper | Technical Director
Richard has had an eclectic career, having toured internationally with various rock n’ roll and theatre productions. He joined The Bridge House in 2005 and became an integral part of The Bridge Project. Richard quickly established himself as a key part of the team- initiating the Theatre Internship and professionalising the technical facilities of the venue. He continues to lend his experience and expertise to our productions and to Warwick School students. Richard also has possibly the broadest (and questionable) music collection known to mankind.
Judy Reaves | Theatre Designer
Judy has been our resident theatre designer since 2007. She studied English and Drama at Goldsmiths College, London. And then went on to study theatre design at Bristol Old Vic theatre school. During her varied career Judy has worked extensively in the West End, on national tours and in repertory theatre. She was Head of Design at The Palace Theatre, Westcliff and has designed for the The Watermill, Newbury. She also lectures on theatre design at Stratford-upon-Avon College and has also been an associated designer at Arts Ed.
Naomi Vandermolen | Theatre Intern
Naomi is the newest member of the team, having beaten over 40 potential candidates to join The Bridge House as Theatre Intern in September 2011. She recently graduated from The University of Leeds where she studied Performance Design. Before joining The Bridge House Naomi designed a piece of site specific theatre at the Prague Quadrennial. Naomi is also a keen ‘tweeter’. Follower her at @TheBHTIntern to find out what goes on behind the scenes at The Bridge House. She is currently designing an exciting new adaptation of ‘The Elephant Man’ and will be accompanying Foundations Youth Theatre on their tour of Canada with ‘Alice…’. Naomi also bakes excellent cakes, which makes her an extremely popular member of the team.
